Clara Biotech Wins BioTools Innovator Best Video Award, 2021
LAWRENCE, KS., October 15, 2021 -- Clara Biotech, Inc. is pleased to announce that their Company has been awarded the prestigious BioTools Innovator 2021 Best Video Award for their 1-minute video. The BioTools Innovator Awards is an esteemed award program recognizing cutting-edge achievements in BioTools technology.
BioTools Innovator, a new program focused on accelerating life science tools and diagnostics, announced Clara Biotech as the Best Video award winner of the first BioTools Innovator program final competition. The winning company was determined by a live audience vote on October 14 at the BioTools Innovator Capstone Event in Carlsbad, Calif.
Clara Biotech also took home a $10,000 Finalist Award. BioTools Innovator received over 160 applications in this year's cycle. 23 companies were invited to pitch during the BioTools Innovator Road Tour, with 10 companies ultimately receiving a slot in the 2021 Cohort. Clara Biotech was recognized as a finalist selected from this year's BioTools Innovator Accelerator program.
Clara's ExoRelease™ technology allows exosome scientists to isolate and purify exosomes using immunomagnetic beads with specific antibodies. The unique design is coupled with a light release technology and tool which allows the release of the exosomes in a pure and functional form, without contaminants like stray nucleic acids, protein fragments, and cell debris.
